Center for Autism & Related Disorders (CARD) - is among the world's largest and most experienced organizations effectively treating children with autism and related disorders. Family Support Groups:

Talk about Curing Autism (TACA) - provides the information and connection to improve the quality of life of people with autism in their families. For families who have just received the autism diagnosis, TACA aims to speed up the cycle time that gets them from the diagnosis to the appropriate information that will lead to effect treatment and supports. For all families, TACA builds the autism community by connecting people with each other and the professionals who can help them, allowing them to share stories and information to help people with autism be the best that they can be.

Families for Early Autism Treatment (FEAT) - is a non-profit organization of parents and professionals, designed to help families with children who have re­ceived the diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), including Autism, Pervasive Developmental Disorder (PDD), or Asperger’s Syndrome. It offers a network of support where families can meet each other and discuss issues surrounding autism and treatment options. FEAT has a Board of Directors that meets monthly to discuss issues, establish priori­ties, and vote on the direction of the organization.

Parents Helping Parents - PHP is a 28-year-old nonprofit, family resource center that benefits children with special needs. This includes children of all ages (birth through life) and all backgrounds who have a need for special services due to any special need, including but not limited to illness, cancer, accidents, birth defects, neurological conditions, premature birth, learning or physical disabilities, mental health issues, and attention deficit (hyperactivity) disorder to name a few.

National Alliance of Autism Research (NAAR) - The National Alliance for Autism Research (NAAR) is the first organization in the U.S. dedicated to funding and accelerating biomedical research focusing on autism spectrum disorders. Established in 1994 by parents of children with autism concerned about the limited amount of funding available for autism research, NAAR was created in a spirit of optimism and excitement over the opportunities for accelerating the pace of autism research.
