Cuts for Hope

Luciano's Salon in Woodland Hills, CA hosted "Cuts for Hope" on February 8, 2009 to benefit ACT Today! and The Help Group. All funds and tips from hair cuts, styling, manicures, and massages were donated to the two autism nonprofits.

Assemblymember Bob Blumenfield gave a donation of $500 for his haircut. Click here to read his article about the experience.

In addition to salon services, the event offered musical entertainment and a silent auction. Ric Pozo, the Luciano's stylist who arranged the event, was happy with the turn out and hopes to make Cuts for Hope into an annual event.
